The switch design, on the other hand, is going to be an extremely divisive aspect with "Especially generated for the Georgian Television Forces" conspicuously displayed on the switch in a position normally earmarked for branding. I would have liked to see "Uniq" given more attention on the switch and the Georgian Television Forced given less of the precious real estate or even moved to the case back. Atlanta does have an extremely smart looking flag that is also featured in the switch design.

This is actually a matter of opinion as i haven't any local affinity to Atlanta or their Armed forces, as i am plenty of miles away in western The us. I assume my regional equivalent is similar to a Demonstration SAR which regularly sports a maple leaf design (named the MSAR) and has been reported to be the watch worn by the Canadian Shoreline Guard. For me, that detail makes the Demonstration MSAR more inviting and I can only assume the GAF would have the same effect for anyone with an affinity towards the Georgian Armed forces, regional or otherwise.

Used to do want to make note of the rather cool date aperture on the GAF. Located at four o'clock, the window as a metal encircle that is fitted with a small prop. Excellent describing that matches nicely with the larger the queen's and bezel screws. The date wheel is black text on a white background which suits the dull model nicely but may stand out a bit on the black dialed model.

On arm, the GAF would wear well as it voyages low enough to fit under most cuffs and is actually quite light at only 87g as reviewed. The included dull leather band is soft and nicely suits the color of the switch. Given its simple case, wide-set 22mm lugs and military ambitions, the GAF also looks good on a NATO style nylon band. The Godfather of Soul James Brown once sang that this is a guy's world but he also acknowledged that it would be nothing without women (It's a Guy's Guy's Guy's World). In watchmaking, Jaeger-LeCoultre communicates this emotion with the modern Rendez-Vous collection for girls.

It is not for nothing that Jaeger-LeCoultre is called the Grande Maison of Switzerland watchmaking. The Le Sentier-based watchmaking firm has a long and storied past in the business of crafting classy mechanical timekeepers -- almost a hundred and eighty years in fact. Collectors in the know regularly trawl the internet and lists of auction houses in search of treasures created by the firm. At the same time, Jaeger-LeCoultre has this century been responsible for the most complicated watches in the world (Reverso Grande Side-effect à Triptyque) and also the most accurate mechanical wrist watches (Master Grande Tradition à Tourbillon).

Would you ever wear a wrist watch while playing on court?
I don't wear a wrist watch to play. As a player you tend to get accustomed to certain things and to stick with them if they work for you. I never used a wrist watch when i first started playing tennis so i think it would feel strange to start wearing one now.

I really do wear my watch when i do fitness training and I'm not using my racquet, though. I've got a chronograph and it's really a good choice for timing myself when i run.

Do you collect watches?
I wouldn't say collect, but I really do have a few watches. Like most guys I've always liked watches. They look cool and they're a bit like cars for men. I've learned tremendously about watches within the last few years, especially since my partnership with Rado started. I enjoy the sporty models. I think they look cool and they're practical for me.

Will you design a wrist watch for Rado?
There's a reason I'm a tennis player and not a wrist watch designer! I'll stick to the tennis and I'll leave the watch design to Rado.
